Job Title: Robotics Engineer / Researcher
Role Summary:
Design, develop, and deploy full‑stack robotic systems and AI models for general‑purpose industrial and learning robotics. Transition raw components into functional prototypes, integrate deep learning pipelines, and create high‑quality, maintainable software for manipulation, locomotion, and navigation tasks.
Expectations:
- 3+ years experience in robotics, AI, or related fields.
- Strong Python skills and fluency in PyTorch or JAX.
- Proven track record of building, testing, and deploying robotic solutions.
- Ability to iterate rapidly from concept to prototype while maintaining software quality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, test, and integrate algorithms for manipulators, mobile platforms, and humanoid systems.
2. Build and optimize deep‑learning pipelines: data prep, model training, and deployment.
3. Convert raw parts into fully functional prototypes, coordinating hardware and software integration.
4. Develop simulation models for motion and manipulation testing.
5. Evaluate robotic solutions, balancing performance, efficiency, and reliability.
6. Produce robust, well‑tested code using modern engineering practices (unit tests, CI, version control).
Required Skills:
- Python programming and deep‑learning frameworks (PyTorch, JAX).
- Expertise in at least one of manipulation, locomotion, navigation, imitation learning, reinforcement learning, or generative modeling.
- Knowledge of classical robotics (kinematics, dynamics, control) and modern ML techniques.
- Experience in simulation (e.g., Gazebo, PyBullet, Unity).
- Strong software engineering discipline: testing, CI/CD, documentation, and code reviews.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in cross‑functional teams.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- No specific certifications mandatory; relevant coursework in robotics or AI is preferred.
