Job Description
Job Title: Account Executive, Southwestern Ontario (15‑month contract) Role Summary: Support the National Sales team by managing a portfolio of lender partners across Southwestern Ontario. Deliver mortgage‑insurance solutions, conduct sales presentations, and collaborate with underwriting and partner teams to grow business in the assigned territory. Expectations: * Assist the Director of Sales in developing and executing business plans. * Participate in strategic planning for new lender launches and execute territory‑specific plans. * Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of company products, pricing, underwriting guidelines, and industry trends. * Travel regularly within Southwestern Ontario; attend industry events and trade group functions. Key Responsibilities: * Present and train lenders and mortgage professionals on Canada Guaranty’s products via webinars and in‑person sessions. * Build and nurture relationships with lender partners, addressing inquiries and ensuring high service levels. * Analyze financial statements and credit reports to evaluate underwriting suitability. * Monitor premium rate changes and regulatory updates that affect partners. * Gather competitor intelligence and share insights with the sales team. * Attend Mortgage Professionals Canada events and maintain active participation in trade groups. Required Skills: * Minimum 5 years experience in mortgage sales or lending functions. * Strong understanding of mortgage origination, underwriting, and insurance products. * Ability to analyze financial statements and credit bureau data. * Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. * Customer‑service orientation with a professional, friendly demeanor. * Proven confidentiality and self‑directed work ethic. Required Education & Certifications: * Undergraduate degree (any discipline).
