Senior Manager, Software Engineering
**Role Summary**
Lead and mentor a high‑performing software engineering team (15+ members), driving the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Workday, Navision, Sub Hub, Informatica, and PeopleSoft. Own digital transformation initiatives, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant solutions that align with business strategy. Serve as a technical and strategic advisor to internal stakeholders and customers, while managing cross‑functional Agile teams and multi‑phase upgrade/migration projects.
**Expectations**
- 10+ years of technical engineering or architecture experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and execute large‑scale digital transformations.
- Strong, clear communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders; able to influence executives and align multiple groups on objectives.
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills, driving positive outcomes in complex projects.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Software Engineers, ensuring timely, high‑quality delivery.
- Define and maintain solution roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives that maximize customer satisfaction and business impact.
- Architect, customize, and continuously optimize enterprise platforms (Salesforce, Workday, Navision, Sub Hub, Informatica, PeopleSoft).
- Enforce best practices for scalability, security, and compliance through enterprise architecture, data governance, and role‑based access controls.
- Monitor and refine workflows, eliminating redundancies and improving automation.
- Collaborate with business units and IT to assess processes, identify gaps, and implement efficiency and innovation solutions.
- Lead system migration, upgrade, and modernization projects, minimizing disruption and maximizing adoption.
- Apply AI/ML and analytics to enhance reporting, forecasting, and decision‑making.
- Manage cross‑practice initiatives to deliver differentiated solutions for clients.
- Own end‑to‑end digital transformation initiatives, including cloud migration, data integration, and performance tuning for high‑availability environments.
**Required Skills**
- Expertise in Salesforce (Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience Clouds); Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and integration methods (APEX REST, MuleSoft, Data Loader).
- Proficient with Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, APIs, Azure SQL) and Azure DevOps (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code).
- Strong security knowledge: Azure AD, identity, networking, and best practices.
- Experience with enterprise data integration, governance, and migration.
- Agile methodology leadership and project management.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder alignment.
- Ability to drive cultural change and cross‑team collaboration in a complex environment.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certifications: PMP, Digital Leader (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
- (Preferred) Salesforce Platform Developer, Cloud Architecture, or related credentials.
