Job Description
**Job Title** Intern, Internal Audit **Role Summary** Assist the Corporate Internal Audit team in planning and executing financial compliance audits (NI 52-109). Participate in risk assessment, control testing, audit documentation, and reporting under supervision. **Expectations** * Deliver accurate audit workpapers and findings within scheduled deadlines. * Communicate audit status and issues effectively to the Audit Manager. * Demonstrate professional conduct, ethical behavior, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving. **Key Responsibilities** * Plan and execute audits of financial processes and controls. * Identify risks, evaluate internal controls, design and perform audit procedures. * Draft audit findings, discuss deficiencies with control owners, and recommend improvements. * Follow up on management action plans to confirm implementation. * Test manual and automated controls, including those within ERP systems. * Prepare audit reports and supporting documentation. * Assist with ad‑hoc requests and special projects as assigned. **Required Skills** * Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); basic data‑analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Copilot) preferred. * Introductory knowledge of IFRS, audit standards, and risk‑management frameworks (COSO, NI 52‑109). * Familiarity with ERP systems; SAP knowledge is an asset. * Excellent written and verbal communication in English; French communication skills are a plus. * Team‑collaborative, inclusive, and ethical mindset. * Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. **Required Education & Certifications** * Current enrollment in or recent completion of a Bachelor’s program in Accounting (minimum 2nd year completed). * Active pursuit of CPA designation.
