Job Description
**Job Title** Regional Sales Manager – Culinary Food Sales **Role Summary** Drive sales and market penetration of commercial kitchen solutions across a defined territory (Toronto, Montreal, or Kelowna). Execute strategic sales activities, conduct live culinary demonstrations, and nurture customer relationships within the foodservice and commercial sectors. **Expectations** - Consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales targets and pipeline metrics. - Develop a high‑volume prospecting cadence (cold calls, networking, referrals). - Deliver persuasive presentations and demos that translate technical product features into business value. - Maintain rigorous CRM and forecasting accuracy. **Key Responsibilities** - Plan and execute territory sales strategies and annual business plans. - Lead live culinary demonstration events to showcase commercial kitchen solutions. - Identify, qualify, and manage relationships with foodservice buyers, consultants, designers, and dealers. - Build and sustain a referral and partner network. - Conduct prospecting, cold calling, and account development activities. - Update Salesforce with accurate, timely information on opportunities, contacts, and activity. - Create and submit sales forecasts and performance reports. - Represent the company at regional and national trade shows and industry events. - Monitor market trends, competitor actions, and regulatory changes affecting sales. **Required Skills** - Proven culinary expertise (chef-level experience in a commercial kitchen). - Sales experience in B2B or commercial kitchen environments. - Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills. - Ability to translate technical product knowledge into compelling sales narratives. - Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and results‑driven. - Proficiency in MS Office and CRM (Salesforce preferred). - Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel up to 50% (including occasional international). - Bilingual French/English preferred for Quebec region. **Required Education & Certifications** - Degree in Culinary Arts or Business (preferred; equivalent work experience acceptable). - Relevant culinary certifications (e.g., Certified Executive Chef, Culinary Institute credentials) considered an advantage.
