Job Description

Cyber Security Engineer Role Summary: Implements security controls for AI/ML solutions, reviews AI/ML systems for vulnerabilities, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, compliant AI/ML deployment. Focus on mitigating AI-specific risks and enforcing governance frameworks. Expectations: Junior to mid-level role requiring foundational cybersecurity experience with AI/ML exposure. Strong analytical and communication skills required to assess systems and convey security insights. Key Responsibilities: - Implement AI/ML security controls (e.g., guard against prompt injection, data poisoning). - Review AI systems (including generative AI, LLMs) for risks and compliance. - Partner with product, data, and compliance teams to integrate security into AI/ML workflows. - Conduct threat modeling and security testing for AI/ML solutions. - Apply cloud security principles to protect AI/ML infrastructure. Required Skills: - 2+ years cybersecurity experience with AI/ML exposure. - Proficiency in AI/ML concepts and risks (prompt injection, data poisoning, model misuse). - Core cybersecurity skills: secure coding, threat modeling, cloud security. - AI security/ML governance experience. - Scripting/automation for security testing (e.g., Python, Bash). - Knowledge of NIST/ISO AI regulatory frameworks. - Experience with Microsoft AI security tools (e.g., Azure Security for ML).
