Job Title: Artificial Intelligence Engineer
Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end AI pipelines for cost modeling, carbon estimation, and supply‑chain analytics. Lead model research, prototyping, productionization, and monitoring, collaborating cross‑functionally to translate business requirements into deployed solutions.
Expectations: Deliver robust, scalable AI services in an early‑stage, fast‑moving environment; own model lifecycle from data ingestion through continuous delivery; communicate effectively with product, sales, and customer teams; adapt to ambiguity and rapidly evolving priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and orchestrate AI pipelines: data preprocessing, model training, inference as reusable services.
- Prototype and validate new techniques (LLMs, graph models, domain logic) to improve accuracy, coverage, and latency.
- Deploy models to production, set up monitoring dashboards, and address reliability/performance issues.
- Collaborate with product and stakeholder teams to translate real‑world use cases into AI solutions.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and roadmap for the AI stack.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years experience building/operating AI systems (LLMs, knowledge graphs, or similar).
- Strong Python programming; proficient in APIs, service wiring, and orchestration frameworks.
- Full AI lifecycle experience: data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, CI/CD, monitoring.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- (Optional) Domain expertise in manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, or sustainability; startup/team wearing multiple hats.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in AI/ML (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) are a plus.
