**Job Title:**
SWIFT Infrastructure Support – Cloud Infrastructure / Technology Engineering (Senior Associate)
**Role Summary:**
Provide engineering support for SWIFT messaging platforms and related cloud infrastructure, designing moderately complex solutions, monitoring performance, and maintaining operational policies. Work within an agile environment to migrate on‑premise systems to cloud, develop APIs, and ensure reliability of SWIFT services.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 2 years of Linux/Unix systems engineering.
- Proven experience with cloud technologies and migration of on‑premise workloads to cloud environments.
- Hands‑on experience with middleware/messaging (IBM MQ, AWS SQS/SNS).
- Ability to independently monitor performance and capacity metrics.
- Strong problem‑solving skills to diagnose and resolve operational errors.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaboration tools (JIRA, SharePoint, Confluence).
- Desired: experience with SWIFT products (Alliance Cloud, Access, Gateway, Web Platform), Python OOP, REST API development, SQL, XML, and banking/payment systems (ISO 20022).
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement moderately complex application and infrastructure solutions for SWIFT platforms.
- Develop, document, and maintain policies, guidelines, and SOPs for infrastructure operations.
- Monitor and analyze advanced performance and capacity metrics; take corrective actions as needed.
- Migrate on‑premise services to cloud environments and support cloud‑based SWIFT components.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and integration scripts using Python and SQL.
- Provide tier‑2/3 support for SWIFT products (Alliance Cloud, Access, Gateway, Web Platform) and associated hardware (HSM, Alliance Connect).
- Participate in agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, and sprint execution.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using SharePoint, Confluence, and JIRA.
**Required Skills:**
- Linux/Unix system administration (2+ years)
- Cloud platforms & migration (AWS, Azure, or equivalent)
- Middleware/Messaging: IBM MQ, AWS SQS/SNS
- SWIFT product suite: Alliance Cloud, Access, Gateway, Web Platform, HSM, Connect
- Programming: Python (object‑oriented), REST API development, SQL, XML
- Monitoring & performance analysis tools
- Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban)
- Collaboration tools: JIRA, SharePoint, Confluence, Excel
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Linux, Cloud (AWS/Azure), SWIFT, or Agile) are a plus but not mandatory.
