Job Description
**Job Title:** Manager, Partnership Marketing **Role Summary:** Leads the management, renewal, and growth of brand partnerships for a professional sports club. Develops and executes strategic marketing campaigns that drive revenue and maximize partner value across digital, matchday, experiential, and merchandise assets. Acts as primary liaison between partners, agencies, and internal teams to ensure activation alignment with brand standards and business objectives. **Expactations:** - Build and sustain strong relationships with partners and agency contacts. - Understand each partner’s brand goals and translate them into effective activations. - Secure renewals and upsells to achieve revenue targets. - Negotiate complex rights packages and contracts. - Utilize CRM and analytics to monitor performance and optimize results. - Collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver seamless partner experiences. **Key Responsibilities:** - Serve as the day‑to‑day contact for assigned partners, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction. - Conceptualize and propose marketing initiatives leveraging club assets (digital content, branding, experiences, tickets, hospitality, player appearances, merchandise). - Ensure all activations comply with brand guidelines and league safety policies. - Structure, negotiate, and finalize partnership agreements, including renewals and add‑ons. - Coordinate with internal departments (creative, operations, sales, hospitality) for flawless execution. - Track activation metrics, generate performance reports, and recommend improvements. **Required Skills:** - Proven ability to drive revenue through partnership activation and upselling. - Strong negotiation and contract‑management expertise, especially in sports sponsorship. - Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills. - Analytical mindset with proficiency in CRM and performance‑tracking tools. - Creative problem‑solving and strategic thinking. - High discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment in client interactions. - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; occasional lifting up to 15 lb. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. - 3–5 years of experience in sports, entertainment, or media partnership marketing. - (Optional) Fluency in a second language. - Compliance with relevant league safety and child‑protection policies.
