**Job Title:** DataOps Engineer (DataOps / DevOps)
**Role Summary:**
Engineer responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining data‑centric CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure. Ensures reliable deployment, monitoring, and operation of database and storage platforms using modern DevOps practices and cloud services.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in DataOps/DevOps.
- Strong expertise with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and related data stacks.
- Proven ability to build and sustain CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Level‑3 incidents and ensure operational continuity.
- Demonstrated collaboration in Agile environments and documentation of technical solutions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for data platforms (GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus).
- Automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring of databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Oracle, MongoDB) and ELK stack using Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and related tools.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code scripts (Terraform, Ansible) for multi‑cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Support N3 incident analysis, root‑cause investigation, and resolution.
- Ensure operational readiness (MCO) through proactive monitoring (Grafana, NetBackup) and performance tuning.
- Promote best‑practice DataOps standards: version control, automated testing, code review, branch management, and release approvals.
- Produce and keep up‑to‑date technical documentation for processes, configurations, and architectures.
**Required Skills:**
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Oracle, MongoDB, Elastic (ELK).
- Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, VMWare.
- Automation & IaC: Ansible, Terraform, Maven.
- CI/CD & Version Control: Git, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Nexus.
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure.
- Scripting/Programming: Strong command‑line and scripting abilities (Bash, Python preferred).
- Monitoring & Backup: Grafana, NetBackup.
- Operating Systems: Linux, Windows.
- Web Servers: Apache, Nginx.
- Agile methodology and collaborative teamwork.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator, AWS/GCP/Azure certifications, Terraform Associate) are a plus.
