Job Title: Data Architect (F/M/X)
Role Summary: Lead the design, evolution, and maintenance of enterprise decision‑support data architectures, ensuring high performance, scalability, and robustness for strategic analytics.
Expectations: Deliver technically credible solutions in an advanced data environment; influence cross‑functional stakeholders through clear architecture recommendations; prototype and develop complex components when needed; maintain alignment with business strategy and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own technical leadership for data and decision‑support architecture (infrastructure, components, platform choices).
- Review and guide development on architecture‑related aspects of projects, recommending best practices.
- Design, audit, and evolve existing warehouses, data marts, and decision flows, particularly under high volume scenarios.
- Evaluate, prototype, and validate new technologies, ETL tools, and APIs through POCs and prototypes.
- Engage with business, technical, and governance teams to secure consensus and adoption of architectural solutions.
- Coach and mentor teams on architecture principles and technology selections.
- Facilitate technical workshops and communicate architectural decisions across audiences.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years in data/decision architecture with proven technical depth.
- Hands‑on experience designing and evolving data warehouses, data marts, and complex ETL pipelines (Talend).
- Expertise in decision‑support platforms (Cognos, Power BI) and relational databases (Oracle).
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Windows environments, Git, Jira, PowerShell, and API integration.
- Ability to audit, performance‑optimize, and scale architectures for large‑volume workloads.
- Proficient in prototyping and component development, writing clean code and scripts.
- Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Professional certifications in data architecture, ETL, or BI platforms (e.g., Cognos, Oracle, Talend) are highly desirable.
