Job Description
**Job title** Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation Project Engineer **Role Summary** Oversee and control the execution phase of Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation (EIA) works for a new chemical plant unit. Manage design studies, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning while ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget compliance. **Expectations** - Deliver EIA projects on time and within budget. - Maintain compliance with company and industry standards (ATEX, electrical safety). - Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. - Demonstrate autonomous, proactive and solution‑oriented management. **Key Responsibilities** - Review and monitor design studies (conceptual, detailed). - Conduct preliminary (sommaire) studies and perform APS/APD analyses. - Define specifications for EIA system designs. - Clarify technical offers for equipment and subcontracted works. - Lead and supervise construction activities for electrical, instrumentation and automation scopes. - Accept and test delivered equipment. - Produce regular status reports and attend weekly coordination meetings. - Supervise pre‑commissioning tests of control and command systems. **Required Skills** - 10+ years of project management in EIA, preferably industrial/chemical sector. - Expertise in high/low voltage electrical installations. - Strong knowledge of instrumentation used in chemical processes (flow, pressure, temperature, level). - Proficiency with Siemens technologies (TIA Portal, WinCC, PCS7) and programming/parameterization. - Competence in CAD tools (AutoCAD) and Caneco. - ATEX 0 certification and other electrical safety credentials. - Excellent written and oral communication, teamwork, and initiative. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s +5 (equivalent) degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnical Engineering, or related discipline. - Proven project management experience in EIA. - ATEX 0 certification and other relevant electrical safety certifications.
