**Job title**
IT Manager (H/F)
**Role Summary**
Lead and evolve the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and alignment with business strategy. Act as the primary technical steward for systems, networks, and end‑user support, while guiding a support technician and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 8 years as IT Technician or 5 years in an IT Manager role.
- Proven ability to plan, implement, and manage complex IT environments.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on service delivery.
- Effective communication in French and English; written and verbal.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee administration and operation of Windows (10/11, Server, Active Directory) and Linux Synology environments.
- Manage messaging and collaboration tools, primarily Google Workspace Business.
- Secure, monitor, and maintain servers, routers, switches, firewalls, Wi‑Fi, AD, DNS, DHCP, and file services.
- Lead incident support, ensuring rapid, sustainable resolution of user issues.
- Design, implement, and verify backup and business‑continuity plans.
- Drive projects that enhance infrastructure architecture and support digital transformation.
- Conduct technology watch to recommend innovative solutions that meet evolving business needs.
- Supervise and mentor a systems and networking technician.
**Required Skills**
- Expert in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Synology Linux.
- Deep knowledge of network security, system hardening, and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in virtualization, storage, and database infrastructure.
- Strong incident analysis and incident‑resolution methodology.
- Project management and change‑control experience.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer‑service orientation.
- Ability to document processes and communicate clearly.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+, Linux Professional Institute Certification) are highly desirable.
