**Job Title** Salesforce Developer **Role Summary** Design, develop, test, and deploy customized Salesforce solutions for child welfare programs. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical implementations, maintain Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and integrate Salesforce with external systems. **Expectations** - Produce high‑quality, maintainable code in accordance with Salesforce best practices. - Ensure timely delivery of functional features and bug fixes. - Keep documentation current and support knowledge transfer to end‑users and team members. **Key Responsibilities** - Customise and configure Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, and platform functionality. - Write Apex code, develop Visualforce pages and Lightning components. - Integrate Salesforce with external platforms (e.g., Child Welfare Technology System). - Perform unit testing, debugging, and production deployments; coordinate with QA teams. - Manage development tasks in Jira (Scrum/Kanban) and prepare effort estimations and project plans. - Conduct joint application development sessions and impact analysis. - Maintain technical documentation, design diagrams, and code comments. - Enforce security policies, review scan results, and remediate vulnerabilities. - Mentor peers and enforce peer‑review processes. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components). - Experience with Salesforce configuration (objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, process builder, flows). - Integration knowledge (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware). - Familiarity with Agile development, Jira, and version control. - Strong debugging and unit‑testing capabilities. - Excellent communication for stakeholder engagement. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (mandatory). - Additional certifications (Developer II, Platform App Builder, or relevant integration credentials) preferred.
