Job Description

Job Title: Technical Lead Role Summary: Lead the development of mobile applications using React Native, TypeScript, and C#. Establish engineering standards, improve code quality, performance, and reliability, and guide the growth of the UK technical team. Expectations: - Drive technical strategy and architecture decisions for the app and platform. - Enable rapid delivery of enhancements and experimentations for UX and product teams. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end‑to‑end app development across the full stack. - Define and enforce coding standards, SOLID principles, and TDD practices. - Optimize site reliability, observability, and overall performance. - Mentor and onboard new developers to build a cohesive team culture. - Collaborate with stakeholders to translate product requirements into scalable solutions. Required Skills: - Strong expertise in React Native, TypeScript, and C#. - Experience with Azure PaaS services. - Proficiency in SOLID design principles, Test‑Driven Development, unit testing, and continuous integration. - Ability to assess and enhance application performance and reliability. - Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate) preferred.
