Job Title: GCS Cloud Cybersecurity Architect
Role Summary: Designs, implements, and governs secure cloud architectures across multiple business units, leveraging CSPM tools, IaC, and multi‑cloud platforms to mitigate risk and support global security strategy.
Expectations:
- Report to Senior Manager, Security Architecture.
- Deliver security architecture solutions for AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, or hybrid environments.
- Support business units and IT teams in optimizing CSPM usage and implementing guardrails.
- Communicate security concepts to non‑technical stakeholders and contribute to evolving multi‑cloud strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize use of Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools and document posture reports for operations (≈30%).
- Research, test, and implement cloud security guardrails (≈20%).
- Provide threat modeling, risk assessments, and security design reviews (≈15%).
- Define, maintain, and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and procedures (≈5%).
- Review network designs, application data flows, and system integrations for compliance (≈10%).
- Assist in high‑level network designs for security tools and reference architecture documentation (≈5%).
- Contribute to multi‑cloud security strategy development (≈5%).
- Mature cloud security review intake processes (≈5%).
Required Skills:
- 5+ years cloud cybersecurity in large enterprise.
- Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI core services and security principles (networking, IAM, data protection, logging/monitoring).
- Experience with CSPM tools (e.g., Orca).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Working knowledge of Python and DevOps practices.
- Strong threat modeling, risk assessment, and secure design capabilities.
- Ability to translate technical security concepts to business stakeholders.
- Awareness of AI‑related cybersecurity risks.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer) are a plus.
