Job title: Lead Salesforce Development Engineer
Role Summary: Lead and mentor a Salesforce development team, architecting and deploying scalable solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud (Case Management), Data Cloud, AgentForce, and Einstein Analytics. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs, ensuring high-quality code, security compliance, and timely delivery.
Expectations: Deliver robust, maintainable Salesforce applications and integrations, upholding coding standards, security, data privacy, and governance policies. Lead troubleshooting, performance optimization, and continuous improvement of Salesforce architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor Salesforce developers; conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and maintain development standards.
- Gather requirements with product managers; translate into technical solutions and design documents.
- Own Salesforce architecture design, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud (Case Management), Data Cloud, and AgentForce implementations.
- Design, develop, and deploy custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce automation tools.
- Manage telephony integrations and integrate Salesforce with other systems via APIs, middleware, and Data Cloud pipelines.
- Ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance; optimize based on Governor limits and release updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Maintain code quality, documentation, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with information security, data privacy, and governance standards.
- Advocate for best practices, stay current with Salesforce releases, and recommend architectural improvements.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years Salesforce development experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud (Case Management), Data Cloud, AgentForce.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, Salesforce automation tools.
- Telephony integration experience and Einstein Analytics knowledge preferred.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, security, data model, workflows, and Governor limits.
- Experience with CI/CD processes, Agile methodologies, and version control.
- Excellent problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II.
- Salesforce Application or System Architect certification.
- Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant.
- Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant.
- Salesforce Einstein Analytics and Discovery Consultant (preferred).
