Job Title: Assistant Category Manager – Stores
Role Summary:
Support the Category Manager in developing and executing category strategies for hot drinks and cereals across retail partners. Analyze sales data, generate insights, craft recommendations on assortment, promotion, merchandising, and pricing, and ensure actions are implemented effectively in stores.
Expectations:
Early‑career professional (university/college or recent graduate) eager to learn category management, strong analytical mindset, organized, detail‑oriented, proactive, and commercial‑oriented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly performance analysis of category sales using distributor panels (Circana, Nielsen, or equivalent).
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations on assortment, promotions, merchandising, pricing, and communication plans.
- Track implementation of plans, adjust as needed, and report results to internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to development and refinement of tools: sales plans, dashboards, argument sheets, and data coding.
- Perform competitive intelligence: monitor new product launches, market trends, and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate closely with Category Manager, Store Managers, Key Account Managers, In‑Store, Marketing and Supply teams.
Required Skills:
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards).
- Strong data analysis and interpretation capabilities; ability to make decisions quickly from data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present findings to cross‑functional teams.
- Organized, rigorous, precise with strong time‑management.
- Curiosity and intellectual agility; willingness to think creatively and exit the status‑quo.
- Commercial acumen, interest in understanding store partners’ needs, and ability to propose solutions.

Required Education & Certifications:
- Current enrollment or recent graduation from Business School, Agri‑engineering or equivalent Bac+5 (Master’s level) program, or comparable education in commercial, marketing, or supply‑chain disciplines.
