**Job title**
Lead Full Stack Developer – Sinequa
**Role summary**
Lead the development and maintenance of an enterprise search platform built on Sinequa (or comparable) technology. Drive platform lifecycle, data source indexing, relevancy tuning, and integration with cloud services to support business use cases.
**Expectations**
* Develop and optimize search algorithms, information retrieval models, and relevancy strategies.
* Manage end‑to‑end platform operations, including scaling, monitoring, and performance tuning.
* Design and implement data pipelines, integration patterns, and governance controls.
* Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, data, and cloud teams.
**Key responsibilities**
1. Architect, develop, and deploy full‑stack components (backend and frontend) for the search platform.
2. Configure and manage Sinequa (or Elasticsearch/Solr) clusters, including index design, data ingestion, and relevancy pipelines.
3. Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and UI components using Java, Angular, Python, or .NET.
4. Implement data integration workflows with enterprise data sources and ensure quality, consistency, and governance.
5. Monitor platform health, troubleshoot incidents, and apply continuous performance improvements.
6. Drive relevancy tuning, search feature enhancements, and NLP/ML integrations.
7. Maintain documentation of architecture, processes, and best practices.
**Required skills**
* Proficiency in Java, Angular, Python, or .NET (plus scripting).
* Hands‑on experience with Sinequa or similar search platforms (Elasticsearch, Solr).
* Strong grasp of search algorithms, information retrieval, and relevancy tuning.
* Expertise in data integration, ETL, and data quality practices.
* Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch).
* Analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills; teamwork orientation.
**Required education & certifications**
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Elastic Certified Engineer) are advantageous but not mandatory.
