Job Title: Data Scientist Role Summary: Develop and implement advanced data science solutions to analyze structured/unstructured data, build predictive/prescriptive models, and address complex financial risk management challenges. Focus on machine learning, scalable systems, and collaboration with global teams. Expectations: PhD or master’s in quantitative field required. Minimum 5 years industry experience in ML/DL modeling and system design. Expertise in Python, ML/DL/LLM algorithms, and financial data analysis. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and deploy Python-based applications for data extraction, analysis, and model development. - Lead cross-timezone teams in developing scalable ML systems aligned with architecture standards. - Mentor developers/analysts on advanced programming practices and model optimization. - Integrate systems across teams to enhance functionality and resolve high-impact issues. - Apply interpretable analytics to define solutions for complex business problems. - Implement unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) for software quality. - Advise on risk assessment strategies balancing business decisions and organizational reputation.
