Job Title: Sr. ETL Developer
Role Summary:
Lead operational support and development of complex Informatica ETL processes for a health insurance enterprise data warehouse. Optimize performance, maintain automation, and collaborate with data warehouse initiatives.
Expectations:
- 5‑7 years of direct experience as an Informatica ETL developer in enterprise data warehouse projects.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and tune robust ETL solutions.
- Strong analytical skills for source–target evaluation and data quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational support of the Informatica environment: automation, job scheduling, dependencies, monitoring, patches, upgrades, security, and administration.
- Administer system performance, continuous optimization, and tuning of the Informatica platform.
- Design, develop, and implement complex ETL mappings, mapplets, and documentation for data warehouses, data marts, and BI projects.
- Analyze and evaluate data sources and targets to support ETL mapping decisions.
- Assist data warehouse team with ongoing initiatives and project delivery.
- Maintain and document data integration processes, including version control and change management.
Required Skills
- Informatica PowerCenter (ETL, mappings, assembly, scheduling) and familiarity with IDMC/IICS.
- Tableau, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Python, and basic PL/SQL.
- Experience with SSIS and advanced SQL for data extraction and transformation.
- Performance tuning, job monitoring, and automation scripts.
- Exposure to healthcare domain systems: QNXT, CCA, EDIFECS, Syntranet.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years industry experience in ETL development for enterprise data warehouses.
- Certified Informatica ETL or equivalent advanced certification preferred.
