Job Description
Job title: Director of Infrastructure Role Summary: Provide senior technical leadership for the IT Infrastructure team, ensuring high availability, security, and efficient cloud adoption. Drive the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise networks, servers, and modern collaboration platforms while aligning with development roadmaps and business objectives. Expactations: - 10–15+ years of IT infrastructure experience with emphasis on network engineering, server management, cloud, and security. - 5+ years of proven leadership, managing and mentoring small management teams. - Strong grasp of Microsoft 365 (Office, SharePoint, Teams) and Azure Cloud. - Hands‑on expertise in SD‑WAN and experience with Fortinet firewalls preferred. - Proficiency in assessing emerging technologies and translating them into actionable upgrades. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, mentor, and develop the infrastructure management team. - Maintain optimal uptime and availability of all network, server, and cloud services. - Oversee deployment and operation of application systems and infrastructure components. - Drive continuous improvement of cloud utilization (Azure) and Office 365 services. - Collaborate closely with developers and engineers to build application roadmaps and ensure seamless integration. - Monitor technological trends, evaluating and recommending enhancements in line with business goals and industry standards. - Manage vendor relationships (no third‑party sub‑vendors per requirement). - Provide technical guidance during incidents and major projects. Required Skills: - Advanced network engineering (routing, switching, SD‑WAN). - Server virtualization and administration (Windows, Linux, VMware). - Cloud architecture with strong Microsoft Azure focus. - IT security fundamentals and experience with firewall technologies (Fortinet). - Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams). - Project management and people leadership. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline. - Certifications: CCNA, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft 365 Certified, and any relevant security or virtualization certifications (e.g., Cisco, VMware, RedHat, NetApp).
