Job Title: Cloud Ops Engineer
Role Summary:
Design, deploy, and operate scalable multi‑cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability. Collaborate with engineering, IT, and Ops to implement cloud solutions, automate workflows, and maintain observability and documentation.
Expectations:
- 3+ years in Cloud Operations, DevOps, or system administration.
- Proven experience managing production cloud environments.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure‑as‑Code, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and maintain scalable multi‑cloud infrastructure.
- Plan and execute capacity planning, scaling, and resiliency improvements.
- Identify and implement cost‑optimization strategies (rightsizing, reserved capacity, lifecycle policies).
- Develop and maintain IaC with CloudFormation and/or Terraform.
- Automate operational tasks using Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
- Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline design and optimization (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Implement comprehensive observability (logs, metrics, dashboards, alerts).
- Document architecture, configurations, and procedures.
Required Skills:
- Hands‑on cloud operations and system administration.
- Infrastructure‑as‑Code (CloudFormation/Terraform).
- Cloud networking (VPC, routing, security groups, load balancers, DNS).
- Monitoring, alert tuning, and noise reduction.
- Scripting in Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
- CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Cloud cost‑optimization techniques.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
