**Job Title**
Business Analyst – Hybrid (W‑2)
**Role Summary**
Support, enhance, and optimize enterprise and custom-built applications for finance, HR, risk, and audit functions. Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating needs into scalable system solutions.
**Expactations**
- Deliver clear functional specifications and requirements.
- Manage product backlog and Agile ceremonies.
- Conduct functional testing, UAT coordination, and change‑management.
- Provide training and documentation for system updates.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Partner with finance and other corporate functions to assess and document business processes.
- Serve as functional bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring mutual understanding.
- Author functional requirements/specifications for enhancements, integrations, and internal apps.
- Maintain and prioritize Azure DevOps backlog (user stories, acceptance criteria).
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
- Support delivery planning, release coordination, and system upgrades.
- Develop and execute functional test plans for new features, patches, and updates.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and facilitate business sign‑off.
- Validate changes in non‑production environments before production deployment.
- Assist with training materials, documentation, and change‑management activities.
**Required Skills**
- 3+ years as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Finance/FP&A Systems Analyst.
- Experience with enterprise applications (financial planning, reporting, operational systems).
- Proficiency with SAP BPC, Anaplan, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, consolidations, and variance analysis.
- Ability to document requirements, conduct functional testing, and manage change.
**Nice to Have**
- Experience with custom‑built or internally developed applications.
- Exposure to system integrations, data mapping, ETL, or APIs.
- Basic SQL/query skills.
- Knowledge of Figma or similar process‑flow tools.
- ITIL exposure or certification.
- Experience in large, complex operational environments (e.g., hospitality or food service).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
- Certifications: ITIL or equivalent IT service‑management training (preferred).
