Job Description
**Job Title** Automation Technician – Instrumentation & Physical Measurements (F/M) **Role Summary** Design, deploy, and maintain odorisation and sampling solutions for natural gas, renewable gases, and liquid chemicals. Serve as the technical expert for automation, electrical, and instrumentation on client sites, ensuring high customer satisfaction and system performance. **Expectations** - Deliver reliable, on‑time installation and commissioning of odorisation and sampling equipment. - Act as the primary technical liaison, troubleshooting automation and electrical issues. - Prepare detailed intervention reports and contribute to cost estimation and proposal development. - Engage in continuous learning of new technologies and industry trends. **Key Responsibilities** - Participate in custom solution development for sampling and odorisation. - Install, commission, and calibrate odorisation equipment at customer sites. - Source alternative products and technologies, analysing competitive offerings. - Draft comprehensive intervention reports and documentation. - Serve as the automation & electrical reference, resolving related challenges. - Estimate project costs and prepare quotations. **Required Skills** - Strong knowledge of industrial automation, instrumentation, and electrical systems. - Proficiency in installing and commissioning gas analysers and measurement instruments. - Analytical skills for product sourcing and competitive analysis. - Excellent communication, customer‑service, and organizational abilities. - Ability to work autonomously and adapt to diverse technical environments. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum 3‑year degree (Bac +3) in Instrumentation, Industrial Maintenance, Physical Measurements, Automation, or Electrical Engineering. - Relevant industry certifications in automation or instrumentation are a plus.
