Job Title: ERP Pick Developer
Role Summary: Developer focused on the design, enhancement, and maintenance of a proprietary Pick-based ERP system. Works under the IT lead to align technical solutions with business needs across finance, production, and sales functions.
Expectations:
- Deliver reliable, secure, and scalable ERP modules that meet evolving business requirements.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Adhere to coding standards, version control best practices, and rigorous testing to ensure high-quality production deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze the current ERP code base and database interactions, identifying areas for optimization.
- Gather, document, and validate functional requirements from internal users.
- Design, code, test, and deploy new features and enhancements in the ERP environment.
- Continuously improve UI ergonomics, accessibility, and performance.
- Participate in test planning, execution, documentation, and production rollout.
- Monitor and enforce code quality, security, and maintainability across the ERP lifecycle.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience developing ERP applications, particularly with Pick or related MultiValue DBMS (Pick, D3, Universe, jBase, openQM, mvBase).
- Strong programming fundamentals in linear and object‑oriented paradigms.
- Proficiency with version control (Git, SVN, etc.) and API design.
- Ability to write clean, efficient code and implement algorithmic solutions.
- Solid knowledge of BASIC and Linux; Python is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Self‑directed, detail‑oriented, and capable of collaborating across teams.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field.
- Relevant professional certifications in ERP development or MultiValue systems are advantageous but not mandatory.
