Job Title: AI Governance Consultant
Role Summary:
Design, implement, and operate federated AI governance for a GenAI/agentic platform in the Energy & Utilities sector, balancing rapid innovation with security, risk, and compliance.
Expectations:
• Deliver a comprehensive governance framework that supports self‑service innovation while maintaining risk control.
• Build and maintain risk scoring, solution registry, adversarial testing, and observability processes.
• Automate governance workflows and evaluate tooling options.
• Facilitate cross‑functional workshops and training for developers, business owners, and executives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design federated governance model (central guardrails + BU self‑service).
- Define roles and responsibilities across platform, security, legal, and business units.
- Implement risk assessment/scoring and set thresholds for high‑risk solutions.
- Create and maintain an AI solution registry (use case, owner, data/model details, risk score, approvals, lifecycle).
- Develop adversarial testing templates (jailbreaks, prompt injection, harmful content, PII leakage, bias, hallucinations).
- Collaborate on AI observability: monitoring, logging, metrics, stakeholder reporting.
- Define lightweight governance for POCs/trials (approved tools, risk profiles, approvals).
- Enhance AI Governance Hub (SharePoint or equivalent) with policies, templates, FAQs, and automation apps.
- Evaluate third‑party governance tools vs. in‑house solutions; map requirements and gaps.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions across platform, security, legal, engineering, business, and executive stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years in Data/AI, Information Security, Risk, Compliance, or related fields.
- 3+ years in AI/ML or AI governance/Responsible AI.
- Proven design/operation of AI governance for GenAI/ ML solutions.
- Expertise in AI risk assessment, scoring, adversarial testing, and lifecycle governance.
- Experience translating governance concepts into templates, checklists, SOPs.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Comfortable with SharePoint, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, or similar automation tools.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Risk Management, or related field.
- Preferred certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Responsible AI/ML certifications.
