Job Title: User Experience Researcher
Role Summary
Lead user‑centered research that drives product strategy and decisions across multiple product lines. Owns research strategy, execution, and operational framework to ensure insights are actionable and integrated into the product roadmap.
Expectations
- Minimum 3 years of UX research experience in a product environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead qualitative research end‑to‑end and manage studies for multiple teams
- Strong methodological judgment and capacity to operate in ambiguous, fast‑moving contexts
- Proven stakeholder‑management, communication, and facilitation skills
- Experience building or contributing to scalable research operations (intake, documentation, playbooks)
Key Responsibilities
- Own the Voice of the User: uncover needs, pains, and behaviors across digital experiences; translate insights into opportunity areas, recommendations, and roadmap inputs
- Define and scale a research strategy and operating model that supports multiple product areas
- Build and maintain standardized research practices: intake workflows, repositories, documentation, and repeatable playbooks
- Plan and conduct mixed‑method studies (interviews, usability tests, surveys, diary studies, prototype tests) and rapidly validate ideas from concept to feature level
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, Data Science, CRM, and Lifecycle teams to align research with business goals and customer outcomes
- Partner with CRM and lifecycle teams to recruit users at key journey moments
- Communicate insights through storytelling, data‑driven visuals, and evidence‑based recommendations; facilitate workshops to accelerate decision‑making
- Advocate for customer empathy and ensure user insights inform prioritization and product decisions
- Maintain research knowledge base and ensure insights are consistently shared across teams
Required Skills
- UX research methodologies: qualitative and quantitative, mixed‑method studies, prototype testing, diary studies, usability testing (moderated/unmoderated)
- Strong data analysis and synthesis to identify actionable insights
- Stakeholder management, cross‑functional collaboration, and workshop facilitation
- Familiarity with research tools: UserZoom, UserTesting, Qualtrics, or equivalent
- Documentation, playbook creation, and research operations management
- Ability to translate research into clear recommendations for product roadmaps
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human‑Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Design, or equivalent professional experience**
