**Job Title** Business Analyst **Role Summary** Drive end‑to‑end packaging, testing, compliance, and release of business applications in a large, regulated corporate environment. Acts as liaison among application owners, security/compliance teams, SCCM/Intune engineers, test teams, and offshore packaging factories (India, Eastern Europe). **Expectations** - Self‑motivated and proactive with minimal supervision. - Strong network building; proactively seeks subject‑matter experts, organizes workshops, and drives progress independently. - Ability to operate across multiple time zones and cultural contexts; handles early‑morning/late‑evening coordination. - Demonstrates resilience and diplomacy to manage conflicting priorities and offshore delivery challenges. **Key Responsibilities** - Own application lifecycle from request to BAU handover: business case, vendor engagement, packaging (MSI, App‑V, MSIX, IntuneWin), compatibility testing, security/compliance sign‑off, pilot, production rollout, handover. - Draft and maintain crystal‑clear packaging briefs, test scripts, and acceptance criteria acceptable across language barriers. - Coordinate and manage offshore packaging and testing resources; ensure timely delivery and quality. - Interpret and apply corporate packaging and security standards: Group Policy, AppLocker, WDAC, Intune App Protection Policies, Conditional Access. - Ensure compliance with audit frameworks (SOX, ISO 27001, GDPR, Cyber Essentials Plus). - Document processes, knowledge and lessons learned; contribute to knowledge base. - Maintain relationships with application owners, security teams, and external vendors. - Participate in change & release management (ITIL or equivalent). **Required Skills** - Deep knowledge of enterprise application packaging & release lifecycle. - Proficiency in Microsoft SCCM/MECM, Intune, MSIX packaging, IntuneWin, Autopilot, Evergreen updates. - Strong understanding of corporate compliance, licensing, security standards and audit requirements. - Ability to interpret Group Policy, AppLocker, WDAC, Intune App Protection, Conditional Access. - Experience managing offshore teams, cross‑time‑zone coordination, clear documentation. - Excellent communication: explain technical packaging issues to non‑technical stakeholders and vice‑versa. - Attention to detail; rigorous testing and validation. - Proactive, “gets things done” attitude; resilient and diplomatic. **Desirable Skills** - Formal Business Analysis: requirements gathering, process mapping (BPMN/Visio). - Practical PM experience managing multiple packaging streams concurrently. - Familiarity with change & release management (ITIL), ServiceNow, Jira. - Scripting/automation (PowerShell, Batch, VBScript). - Virtualisation knowledge (App‑V sequencing, MSIX conversion, Citrix/AVD). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Certifications: Microsoft Certified: DevSecOps Professional or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (preferred). - Relevant industry certifications (ITIL Foundation, PMP, or equivalent) considered an advantage.
