Job Description
**Job Title**: Data Scientist **Role Summary**: Design and deploy AI/ML solutions to optimize manufacturing operations and drive business outcomes. Lead data-driven initiatives aligned with enterprise AI strategy. **Expectations**: - Minimum PhD or Master’s in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field. - 5+ years leveraging large-scale data to solve operational problems. - Proven experience in manufacturing industry contexts. **Key Responsibilities**: - Design, build, and deploy AI/ML tools to improve operational efficiency. - Conduct large-scale data experimentation, identify data relationships, and engineer predictive features. - Develop advanced dashboards and reports to communicate insights and model performance to stakeholders. - Define requirements for training deep learning models and align divisional AI strategies with enterprise goals. - Mine data for trends, mentor stakeholders in AI/ML, and lead cross-functional AI projects. - Present actionable business cases for technical improvements or opportunities. **Required Skills**: - Expertise in Python, PySpark, R; machine learning methods (clustering, regression, time series, NLP). - Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and dimensional modeling. - Knowledge of data governance, cloud/NoSQL databases, and unstructured data analytics. - Ability to translate technical insights into non-technical narratives for stakeholders. - Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills. **Required Education & Certifications**: - PhD or Master’s in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent. - Certifications in data science, machine learning, or data engineering methodologies preferred.
