Job Description
Job Title: Aeronautical Methods Engineer Role Summary: Engineer responsible for interpreting technical drawings, defining and optimizing manufacturing processes for aeronautical components, ensuring compliance with EN 9100 quality standards, and coordinating with production teams. Expectations: - 5+ years experience in welding/fabrication and industrial methods. - Immediate availability for a full‑time CDI. Key Responsibilities: - Read and interpret 2D/3D technical drawings (ISO dimensions, geometric tolerances). - Specify manufacturing operations: bending, folding, cutting, assembly. - Document process flows, nomenclature, and operation sequences. - Use ERP systems (e.g., Clipper) for planning and tracking. - Create and maintain CAD models using CATIA. - Ensure traceability and technical documentation per EN 9100. - Conduct root‑cause analysis and problem resolution. - Employ measurement tools to verify dimensional compliance. - Coordinate with production to optimize throughput and quality. Job Description
Job title: Aerospace Production Manager Role Summary: Lead, coordinate, and continuously improve an aerospace production workshop or line, ensuring high levels of safety, quality, cost, and schedule performance in compliance with EN9100, PART21G/145 and other regulatory standards. Expectations: - Deliver production targets and maintain operational excellence. - Apply aerospace industry regulations and quality systems. - Drive Lean initiatives for process efficiency. - Manage budgets and support new product introduction. - Foster a high‑performance, safe, and adaptable team culture. Key Responsibilities: 1. **Operational Management** – Organize and supervise daily production activities; ensure production cadence, schedule adherence, and reliability of outputs. 2. **Quality & Compliance** – Enforce aviation standards; handle non‑conformities, corrective/preventive actions; maintain documentation and traceability. 3. **Team Leadership** – Recruit, coach, train, and develop multidisciplinary production teams; promote safety and performance. 4. **Continuous Improvement** – Deploy Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, QRQC, SMED, VSM); track KPIs such as OEE, productivity, scrap rate, OTAT; propose and manage optimization projects. 5. **Cross‑Functional Coordination** – Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing methods, maintenance, quality, and design; manage operational budgets; contribute to industrialisation and NPI phases. Required Skills: - Deep knowledge of aerospace manufacturing (assembly, machining, composites). - Strong grasp of aerospace regulations and certification requirements (EN9100, PART21G, PART145). - Proficiency in Lean methodologies and problem‑solving frameworks (8D, DMAIC, PDCA). - Experience with ERP/MES systems and project management. - Demonstrated leadership, conflict resolution, change management, and decision‑making skills. - Excellent communication, coordination, analytical thinking, and adaptability. Required Education & Certifications: - Master's or Engineering degree (Bac+5) in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent. - 5+ years in aerospace or high‑compliance manufacturing with confirmed management experience. - Preferred: Lean certification (Green/Black Belt) and industrial transformation experience.
