**Job title:** Finance & Accounting Rotation Analyst Intern **Role Summary:** Internship providing rotational exposure to finance, accounting, audit, and strategic planning. Interns perform financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, SOX controls testing, and operational improvement projects. Work cross‑functionally, develop financial models, and present insights to leadership. **Expectations:** - Work full‑time (40 hrs/week) during the internship period. - Complete assigned projects, produce high‑quality analyses, and meet deadlines. - Communicate findings clearly to cross‑functional teams and senior leaders. - Maintain confidentiality and adhere to SOX compliance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in period‑end close, budgeting support, forecasting, and variance analysis. - Build and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning. - Conduct reconciliations, test procedures, and support SOX controls testing. - Prepare ad‑hoc analyses and reports for leadership to inform decisions. - Participate in strategic and annual planning processes. - Identify and implement efficiency and automation initiatives (e.g., using Excel, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx). - Collaborate with finance, accounting, and other business units. **Required Skills:** - Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, VBA optional). - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Ability to work independently and in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. **Desired Additional Skills (Bonus):** - Experience with SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar data/automation tools. - For accounting candidates: eligibility to sit for the CPA exam after graduation. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Enrolled full‑time in a Bachelor’s program (Finance, Accounting, Economics) or Master’s/MBA program. - Expected graduation: Spring 2027 or Spring 2028. - Current permanent U.S. work authorization. ---
