Job Description

**Job Title:** Control Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and manage control system software for standard and custom vehicles to support full product lifecycle innovation and customer needs. **Expectations:** - Collaborate across departments to integrate software with hardware and systems. - Travel occasionally for customer support (1–4 times/year). - Adhere to QA processes and prioritize continuous software improvements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain PLC and SCADA software. - Test and implement software solutions aligned with functional specifications. - Enhance product capabilities through continuous software development. - Apply version control and collaborate on software projects. - Create technical documentation (design, testing, user manuals). - Troubleshoot and refine software for reliability and performance. **Required Skills:** - PLC/SCADA programming (e.g., Rockwell, AVEVA InTouch). - Machine control/automation systems and network protocols (Ethernet, RS232, RS485). - Scripting/programming skills (if/case logic, application design). - Interpretation of electrical/hydraulic schematics and components. - Attention to detail, teamwork, adaptability to multi-task. - Self-driven problem-solving and improvement-focused mindset. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or related field, or equivalent technical experience.
