**Job Title:** Online Programmer **Role Summary:** Provide short‑term contract support (6 months) for online architecture development in game projects. Design, implement, integrate, and test services that enable monetization, matchmaking, progression, and other online features. Collaborate with gameplay and network teams, offer technical guidance to designers, and stay current with best practices and emerging technologies to enhance the online gaming experience. **Expectations:** - Deliver functional online services within agreed sprint timelines. - Communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams. - Continuously improve online architecture and adopt emerging tools. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and test backend services for online gameplay features. - Integrate services with game clients and other engine components. - Work closely with gameplay and network programmers to ensure compatibility. - Provide technical advice to designers, translating design intent into implementable solutions. - Monitor industry trends, best practices, and new technologies for online services and web platforms. **Required Skills:** - Object‑oriented programming experience. - Proficiency with .NET Core and containerization (Docker). - Back‑end development in a DevOps environment; version control with Git (GitLab or Git). - Cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or CloudFormation). - Optional: Python or Golang, relational/NoSQL database experience. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. ---
