Job title: Risk Developer – Systematic Equities (C# / Python)
Role Summary:
Design, develop, and maintain market‑risk and treasury systems for systematic cash equities. Deliver low‑latency, cloud‑ready solutions that support real‑time trading, analytics, and risk monitoring across front‑office and risk functions.
Expectations:
* Deliver production‑grade C# and Python code within a high‑performance hedge‑fund environment.
* Collaborate closely with revenue, treasury, operations, and research teams to embed risk controls and improve data quality.
* Participate in ongoing cloud migration, CI/CD, and microservice architecture initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and enhance risk‑management tools and infrastructure for systematic cash equities trading.
* Implement scalable, low‑latency, cloud‑integrated systems in C# and Python.
* Design risk controls, exposure frameworks, and analytics dashboards in partnership with the Chief Risk Officer.
* Improve data quality, performance, and reporting across treasury, operations, and research functions.
* Contribute to the modernization of risk and data systems, including migration to Azure or AWS.
* Support an integrated single‑strategy systematic equities platform covering execution, risk, and treasury.
Required Skills:
* Proficient in C# (core requirement) and Python for scripting, data integration, and automation.
* Strong understanding of market‑risk concepts: VaR, sensitivities, exposure, stress testing.
* Experience with cloud‑native architecture, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure or AWS).
* Ability to write efficient, maintainable, high‑quality code in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment.
* Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and communication skills.
* Familiarity with systematic trading workflows and cash equities is a plus.
Required Education & Certifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical discipline.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, AWS Certified Developer – Associate) are advantageous but not mandatory.
