**Job Title:** Manufacturing Engineering Lead – Advanced Manufacturing Projects
**Role Summary:**
Lead end‑to‑end manufacturing engineering for advanced projects, guiding activities from concept through production. Drive process development, Lean and Industry 4.0 implementation, and cross‑functional collaboration to improve quality, cost, and delivery. Serve as technical liaison among internal teams, suppliers, and customers, ensuring seamless transition of products to efficient, scalable manufacturing operations.
**Expectations**
- 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, ideally in advanced manufacturing, aerospace, robotics, or automotive sectors.
- Proven track record in process development, automation, and new product introduction (NPI).
- Strong leadership and project management skills, delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting performance goals.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead manufacturing engineering activities from concept to production, aligning with business objectives.
- Design, optimize, and scale production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Collaborate with design, quality, supply‑chain, and operations teams to transition products to production.
- Implement Lean Six Sigma principles, automation, and Industry 4.0 technologies to improve throughput and reduce waste.
- Act as the technical liaison between internal teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve manufacturing challenges.
- Develop work instructions, standard operating procedures, SOPs, and training programs for production teams.
- Manage capital equipment selection, commissioning, and maintenance to support advanced manufacturing processes.
**Required Skills**
- Process development & continuous improvement expertise (Lean Six Sigma).
- Automation, robotics, PLC programming, and IoT technology knowledge.
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM, ERP/MRP, and data‑driven decision‑making tools.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining, additive manufacturing, sheet‑metal fabrication, and digital manufacturing tools.
- Experience with quality standards such as AS9100, ISO 13485, or IATF 16949.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt and/or PMP (preferred).
- Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, or similar quality systems.
