Job Title: Cloud Security Engineer
Job Description: Job Title: Cloud Security Engineer Role Summary: Engineer secure, automated cloud security solutions for a Managed SOC environment. Design, automate, and optimize detection and response workflows using Microsoft cloud services and AI enhancements. Expectations: - Deliver end‑to‑end SOC configuration for new clients. - Build and refine automated security workflows and integrations. - Enhance detection rules with advanced threat logic. - Contribute to new services such as Vulnerability Management as a Service and External Attack Surface Management. - Continuously improve SOC processes and share innovative ideas. Key Responsibilities: 1. Set up and configure client environments within the SOC platform. 2. Develop and maintain Azure Logic Apps, Terraform scripts, and other automation tools. 3. Create, tune, and validate detection rules in Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR. 4. Integrate security tools and data sources into centralized workflows. 5. Investigate and implement AI‑driven security enhancements. 6. Document processes, share knowledge, and mentor peers. 7. Collaborate with product and engineering teams on new service offerings. Required Skills: - Proficiency with Microsoft Azure (Logic Apps, Sentinel, Defender XDR). - Automation and IaC: Terraform, Azure Resource Manager. - Scripting: Python, PowerShell, Bash. - Experience with security operations, incident detection, and response. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent communication in English and Dutch; French knowledge is a plus. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. - 1–2 years of experience in infrastructure or security engineering. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Certified Information Systems Security Professional) preferred but not mandatory.
