Job Title: Project Manager Scrum Master
Role Summary:
Senior Scrum Master responsible for leading multiple Agile teams delivering complex, enterprise‑level financial or debt management software. Facilitates all Agile ceremonies, removes impediments, coaches Product Owners, and drives continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards.
Expectations:
- Lead and coach at least 3–5 Scrum teams or a scaled Agile program
- Deliver X‑point financial or debt‑management solutions on schedule and within scope
- Ensure adherence to Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe or equivalent frameworks in a cloud‑first environment
- Maintain transparent metrics (burn‑up/down, velocity) and provide executive‑level reporting
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, servant leadership, and high team morale
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Remove blockers, negotiate dependencies, and coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders (engineering, QA, product, architecture, compliance, ops)
- Coach Product Owners on backlog grooming, story decomposition, estimation, and prioritization
- Implement Agile best practices, continuous improvement, and forecast delivery across teams
- Design, establish, and enforce Agile governance, including Centers of Excellence or process‑governance programs
- Oversee Agile lifecycle tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, Rally, VersionOne, etc.) and maintain artefacts
- Advise on secure application development, SDLC, and DevOps integration in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Ensure compliance with financial services regulations (PCI, SOC, FFIEC, CFPB, etc.) and data‑centric integration standards
Required Skills:
- 7+ years as a Scrum Master in Agile software development
- Advanced knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, Nexus, LeSS)
- Strong understanding of SDLC, SADLC, and modern DevOps practices
- Experience facilitating all Agile ceremonies and coaching Product Owners
- Ability to remove impediments, negotiate dependencies, and influence cross‑functional stakeholders
- Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Rally, VersionOne, or similar tools
- Knowledge of regulatory, privacy, and security requirements in financial services
- Excellent facilitation, communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management
- Proven track record leading multiple Agile teams or a large, scaled program
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master I/II (PSM I/II), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM), ICP‑ACC, or equivalent Agile certification
- Additional certifications in SAFe or related frameworks highly desirable.
