Job Description: Job Title Finance Analyst – Bridge & Marine Role Summary Entry‑level finance professional supporting large infrastructure projects ($1 M–$4 B) in the Bridge & Marine District. Focuses on cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, billing, compliance, and month‑end close processes to deliver accurate financial reporting for project management. Expectations - Adapt to project needs and collaborate across operational teams. - Demonstrate strong customer‑service orientation and willingness to assist teammates. - Travel and relocate as project assignments require. Key Responsibilities - Execute payroll and HR processes: hiring, transfers, terminations, and payments. - Manage purchasing workflow, invoice receipt, and vendor payments while maintaining internal controls. - Administer accounts payable processes and resolve payment/vendor issues. - Process intercompany and client billing, ensuring accurate and timely documentation for cash management. - Review and adjust cost and cost‑adjustment records for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. - Examine quantity claims, budget structures, and exception reports; correct discrepancies for management reporting. - Analyze forecast and budget items within cost reports to confirm proper cost and revenue recognition. - Support month‑end close and prepare financial reporting packages. - Maintain organized work environment, adhere to time‑management priorities, and communicate clearly. - Follow corporate compliance program, implementing EEO and labor laws at the project level. Required Skills - Proficient in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, advanced functions), Word, Outlook. - Strong analytical and detail‑oriented mindset with ability to detect discrepancies. - Effective oral and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. - Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, or related field. - 0–2 years of financial/data analysis experience; internship experience preferred. - Minimum GPA 3.0 or above. ---
