Job Description

**Job Title:** Business Analyst **Role Summary:** Business Analyst responsible for producing high‑level discovery documentation for a portfolio of technology and non‑technology projects. Works directly with business stakeholders to capture current processes, define problem statements, and map future-state requirements, translating them into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams. **Expectations:** - Minimum 5 years of business analysis experience. - Ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize tasks, and meet sprint deadlines. - Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. - Detail‑oriented, organized, and process‑driven approach. **Key Responsibilities:** - Gather and document functional and non‑functional requirements through workshops, interviews, and process‑mapping sessions. - Convert requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintain prioritized backlogs. - Collaborate with product owners and developers to refine stories throughout sprint cycles. - Conduct as‑is and to‑be process mapping. - Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT): create test scenarios, review test plans, manage defects, and support business users during testing. **Required Skills:** - Business analysis (5 + years). - Process mapping (as‑is & to‑be). - User story creation and backlog management. - Strong written and verbal communication. - Interpersonal stakeholder management. - Analytical thinking and attention to detail. - Ability to multitask and prioritize workload. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI‑PBA) preferred but not mandatory.
