Job Description
**Job title** R&D Communications Coordinator (F/M) **Role Summary** Provide strategic, operational, digital and event communication support within the Lesaffre Institute of Science & Technology. Facilitate internal messaging, digital content creation, and event organization to enhance the visibility and impact of the R&D division. **Expectations** - Deliver high‑quality presentations and operational documents for the Direction and LIST. - Digitise and enrich communication assets, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to maintain up‑to‑date messaging. - Produce engaging digital content (newsletters, videos, logos, invitations). - Manage and update SharePoint pages and community engagement platforms (e.g., Viva Engage). - Plan and execute seminars, workshops and visits to research platforms. - Support annual communication planning and execution, ensuring coherent message diffusion throughout the year. **Key Responsibilities** - Draft, design and present strategic and operational materials for LIST leadership. - Convert physical assets into digital formats and create animated/interactive documentation. - Coordinate with the Scientific Communication Coordinator and Group Communications to disseminate key metrics and messages. - Produce newsletters, blogs, video clips, photo edits, event logos, and invitation graphics. - Maintain and update SharePoint department home pages and news feeds. - Manage employee advocacy programs on community platforms. - Organise R&D seminars, cross‑functional events, and research platform visits, including logistics, promotion and attendee coordination. - Monitor and report on communication effectiveness and propose improvements. **Required Skills** - Fluency in English (written and spoken). - Proficiency with Office 365 and PowerPoint; mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro). - Experience in video editing, photo retouching, and digital content creation. - Strong copywriting, editing, synthesis and storytelling abilities. - Excellent organisational skills, prioritisation and deadline management. - Discretion, confidentiality and professional integrity. - Adaptable interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. - Creative thinking, idea generation and visual communication skills. - Comfortable with community engagement tools (LinkedIn, Viva Engage, etc.) and event‑planning logistics. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree +5 (Master’s level) in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies or related field. - Minimum 2 years of experience in a corporate communications function, or equivalent graduate from a communication school.
