Job title: Senior Salesforce Developer
Role Summary: Senior architect and developer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining custom Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related Salesforce platforms. Leads full development lifecycle, mentorship, and integration projects while ensuring adherence to best practices and governance.
Expectations:
- Deliver complex, scalable Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Aura.
- Serve as technical lead, mentoring junior staff and driving architectural decisions.
- Manage integration with external systems via REST/SOAP, middleware (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi), and ETL tools.
- Maintain code quality through reviews, unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and performance tuning.
- Keep current with Salesforce releases, releases notes, and ecosystem tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy Apex classes, triggers, LWC, Visualforce, and Aura components.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs with business analysts and architects.
- Configure Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, and automation.
- Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or ETL solutions.
- Optimize performance and manage governor limits.
- Conduct code reviews, unit tests, and support CI/CD (Git, Copado, Gearset, Jenkins).
- Debug and resolve production issues; provide post‑deployment support.
- Mentor junior developers; maintain technical documentation.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
Required Skills:
- ≥12 yrs total IT experience, ≥8 yrs Salesforce development & customization.
- Expert in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Aura, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce data/security model.
- Proficient with Salesforce configuration, workflows, validation, and process automation.
- Experience with API integrations and middleware (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, etc.).
- Familiar with Salesforce DevOps tools: Git, Copado, Gearset, Jenkins.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Hands‑on with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud; optional CPQ/Marketing/Financial Services Cloud.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I & II (highly preferred); additional Salesforce certifications beneficial.
