Job Description
**Job Title** Land Surveyor Engineer – Real Estate & Co‑ownership **Role Summary** Provide technical and managerial support for land‑survey related services, including boundary demarcation, lot creation, corporate property establishment, site planning, and topographic surveys. Oversee client projects from quotation to delivery, ensuring quality, compliance, and cost control. Lead a small team, deliver expert guidance, and contribute to business development and process improvement. **Expectations** - Act as a key technical resource within a dynamic property‑management team. - Maintain high standards of accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance. - Foster client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services. - Mentor junior staff and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Technical Survey Work** – Execute core Geomètre‑Expert services: boundary marking, divisions, subdivision creation, land‑use zoning (ZAC), condominium registration, site planning, and field topographic surveys. 2. **Project Management** – Prepare site visits, estimates, and project plans; supervise on‑site and office activities; review deliverables; control project budgets and timelines. 3. **Client Coordination** – Maintain regular, professional contact with clients, presenting progress and resolving issues. 4. **Team Leadership** – Train and coach staff, define performance metrics, recognize achievements, and implement corrective actions. 5. **Process & Quality Improvement** – Evaluate and refine survey workflows, stay current on industry best practices and legal requirements, and enforce safety protocols. **Required Skills** - Solid technical knowledge in land surveying, zoning, and property law. - Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities. - Effective communication, negotiation, and client‑management skills. - Leadership and mentoring aptitude with team‑oriented mindset. - Commercial acumen and interest in business development. **Required Education & Certifications** - Graduate degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. - Registered or eligible for registration with the Order of Geometers‑Experts (Ordre des Géomètres‑Experts). ---
