Focus on trauma-informed care, behavior management, and collaboration with school staff and agencies. Expactations: Deliver compassionate support to secondary school-aged students with diverse social, behavioral, and learning needs. Maintain professionalism in managing at-risk or challenging behaviors while adhering to safeguarding requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Support students 1:1 and in small groups. - De-escalate challenging behaviors and ensure safe environments. - Collaborate with teaching staff, support teams, and external agencies. - Implement individualized strategies for learning and emotional well-being. - Uphold safeguarding policies and understand educational needs. Required Skills: - Proven SEMH support experience. - Strong de-escalation and behavior management techniques. - Trauma-informed care and safeguarding knowledge. - Effective communication and teamwork across educational stakeholders. - Ability to adapt to diverse student backgrounds and needs. Required Education & Certifications: - Minimum education in teaching, education support, or related field. - Valid UK work authorization. - Enhanced DBS clearance and professional references. - Police clearance (if relevant to employment history).
