Job Description: **Job Title** Application Security Specialist **Role Summary** Provide technical leadership on application security and vulnerability management throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Leverage a strong development background to detect, analyze, and remediate code‑level threats, and collaborate with developers and security architects to embed secure coding practices and automation into CI/CD pipelines. **Expectations** * Act as the technical point of contact for application security initiatives under the Principal Director of Security Architecture and Engineering. * Drive continuous improvement of security practices and tooling integration. * Communicate risk and remediation requirements clearly to development teams. **Key Responsibilities** - Apply in-depth knowledge of vulnerability frameworks (e.g., OWASP Top 10) to support detection and remediation activities. - Operate, configure, and optimize security tools such as SAST, DAST, secret scanning, SCA, SBOM, and related services. - Prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk and guide developers on effective fixes. - Automate security checks within CI/CD pipelines and monitor performance metrics (KPIs). - Conduct targeted code reviews and manual tests on critical or sensitive applications. - Document and transfer security knowledge to the broader application security function. **Required Skills** - 7+ years IT experience, with a minimum of 3 years focused on SSDLC or DevSecOps. - Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation within security tooling. - Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Docker, CloudFormation, SonarCloud (≥2 years). - Knowledge of programming languages: C#, JavaScript, Python, TypeScript (≥2 years). - Understanding of software supply chain security and open‑source license impacts. - Ability to work autonomously, prioritize under pressure, and communicate technical concepts effectively in French. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field. - Recognized application security certification (GIAC, ISC², EC-Council, or equivalent). - 2 years of experience in a financial environment is desirable.
