Job Description
**Job Title:** Cloud Infrastructure Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure to support machine‑learning research and production workloads. Drive automation, CI/CD, and MLOps practices, ensuring reliability, efficiency, observability, and security while collaborating across software, ML, and data science teams. **Expectations:** - Minimum 3 years of professional experience in DevOps, MLOps, or software engineering. - At least 3 years managing AWS services (VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, etc.). - Proven ability to design cloud‑native solutions for data‑intensive, large‑scale workloads. - Strong problem‑solving, technical communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain AWS infrastructure for research and production batch processing. - Implement and manage automation, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes. - Optimize ML models and classical algorithms for performance and robustness. - Introduce and champion MLOps tools and best practices (e.g., DVC, Weights & Biases). - Administer Kubernetes clusters and related tooling (Helm, Karpenter, Traefik). - Collaborate with software engineers to improve end‑to‑end product delivery. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in Python and Linux/Shell scripting. - Hands‑on experience with AWS core services (VPC, EC2, S3, RDS). - Kubernetes administration and ecosystem tools. - Understanding of system design, architectural patterns, and cloud‑native trade‑offs. - Familiarity with CI/CD platforms and infrastructure‑as‑code concepts. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are advantageous but not mandatory.
