Job Description
**Job title** Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Administrator **Role Summary** Management and support of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services across customer environments. Responsible for the configuration, operation, and maintenance of compute, storage, networking, high‑availability, disaster‑recovery, and identity & access management solutions, ensuring performance, security, and compliance. **Expectations** - Provide day‑to‑day administration of OCI services. - Resolve incidents and performance issues promptly. - Implement and maintain security controls, backups, and disaster‑recovery plans. - Automate provisioning and configuration with Terraform and Ansible. - Collaborate with security architects, DBAs, and application support to remediate vulnerabilities. **Key Responsibilities** - Configure, manage, and support OCI compute environments, including OS‑level administration for virtual machines. - Administer OCI storage services, handling backup, recovery, and replication tasks, and apply security configurations. - Set up and maintain OCI networking components (VCNs, network firewalls, WAF) and establish connectivity to on‑premises data centers via FastConnect or Site‑to‑Site VPN. - Design, deploy, and operate OCI high‑availability and disaster‑recovery solutions for services such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, Autonomous Databases (ADW/ATP), and Oracle Integration Cloud. - Manage OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, including SSO federation with partner identity providers (IDPs) and service providers (SPs). - Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in coordination with security teams. - Automate infrastructure lifecycle management using Terraform and Ansible scripts. **Required Skills** - Deep knowledge of OCI services: Compute, Storage, Networking, IAM, HA/DR, analytics, and integration cloud. - Proficiency in OS administration for Linux/Unix virtual machines. - Experience with OCI networking (VCN, security lists, firewalls, VPN, FastConnect). - Strong understanding of backup, recovery, and replication strategies in OCI. - Hands‑on experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code. - Familiarity with security best practices, vulnerability management, and SSO federation. - Troubleshooting and incident response skills in a cloud environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - OCI Certified Architect – Foundations or higher (e.g., Compute, Network, Security). - Certifications in Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent IaC tools are preferred. - Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are an advantage.
