Senior Security Architect

Job Description

Job title: Senior Security Architect Role Summary: Design, implement, and govern enterprise security architecture across cloud (AWS, Azure, Entra ID) and on‑prem environments. Lead a team of 8–12 architects and engineers, providing both strategic guidance and hands‑on technical execution. Expectations: - Own end‑to‑end security solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. - Mentor and develop a multidisciplinary security team. - Drive continuous improvement of security practices, tooling, and automation. - Collaborate closely with IT, DevOps, and business units to embed security in all lifecycle stages. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and maintain next‑generation firewall (Palo Alto Panorama, NGFW) and endpoint protection (Cortex EDR/XSOAR). - Design and manage cloud security frameworks (Prisma Cloud) for AWS, Azure, and Entra ID. - Implement identity and access management using Cisco ISE, Entra ID, and CyberArk (bonus). - Configure and integrate SIEM/SOAR platforms (~10% of workload). - Deploy and manage infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, ServiceNow, and O365 services. - Lead vulnerability assessment and remediation using Tenable. - Oversee incident response, automation, and threat intelligence workflows. - Deliver architecture reviews, technical documentation, and security roadmaps. Required Skills: - Deep expertise with Palo Alto Networks technologies (Panorama, NGFW, Cortex EDR/XSOAR, Prisma Cloud). - Advanced knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Microsoft Entra ID. - Experience with Cisco ISE, Tenable, ServiceNow, Terraform, and O365. - Familiarity with SIEM and SOAR solutions; CyberArk experience is advantageous. - Strong leadership, communication, and project management capabilities. Required Education & Certifications: - 10–12+ years of progressive security architecture experience. - CCNP certification required. - Palo Alto Networks certification(s) highly preferred; practical experience takes precedence over shelf‑certifications.
