Job Description

**Job Title:** Backend Developer (H/F) **Role Summary:** Passionate Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high‑performance, scalable backend services and APIs. Works within a growing tech team to build cloud‑native solutions, automate infrastructure, and ensure code quality, security, and reliability. **Expectations:** - Deliver robust, well‑architected backend components on schedule. - Collaborate closely with product, data, and infrastructure teams. - Participate in continuous improvement of performance, security, and code quality. - Embrace remote work (minimum 2 days per week) and contribute to a supportive, inclusive environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain backend services and micro‑services in Go and/or Python. - Create and document RESTful APIs. - Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, Docker, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines. - Write clean, testable code and ensure reliable production deployments. - Optimize SQL queries and manage PostgreSQL databases. - Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing. **Required Skills:** - Strong proficiency in Python; solid interest and ability to work daily with Golang. - Experience designing APIs and micro‑service architectures. - Good knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL. - Familiarity with Django and/or other backend frameworks (FastAPI, Gin, etc.). - Basic understanding of AWS services and cloud‑native concepts. - Competence with version control (Git) and CI/CD (GitLab). - Ability to write clean, test‑driven code and follow best practices for security and performance. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience). - No specific certifications required; relevant cloud or DevOps certifications are a plus.
