Job Description
Job Title: Software Engineer Role Summary: Design, develop and maintain cloud‑based healthcare software, focusing on the Patient to Payment technology suite. Contribute to new feature creation, modernization of legacy systems, and continual improvement of system performance, security and quality. Expectations: - Work in an Agile development environment with a high‑energy, flexible team. - Collaborate closely with product owners, developers and support staff. - Maintain code quality, security, and documentation while driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Develop new features and enhance existing functionality for large‑scale claims products. - Build and extend a scalable, performant architecture using .NET, ASP.NET MVC, SQL and modern web technologies (Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript). - Conduct code reviews, write unit tests (nUnit/Moq/MSTest/NSpec), and enforce best practices. - Monitor and remediate security vulnerabilities, support automation, and participate in continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.). - Resolve production defects, perform root‑cause analysis, and document fixes and deployment procedures. - Identify opportunities to integrate new technologies that add value to the product stack. Required Skills: - Proficient in C#, .NET (ASP.NET MVC/ASP.NET Core) and SQL. - Experience with Angular and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks. - Knowledge of object‑oriented design, design patterns and dependency injection (Microsoft DI, Autofac, Unity). - Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (nUnit, Moq, MSTest, etc.) and TDD. - Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). - Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to cross‑functional teams. - Experience in enterprise‑level, cloud‑based software development (preferably Azure). Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field; OR equivalent 4+ years of software engineering experience.
